Individual Lessons

We offer lessons in voice and piano as well as individual audition prep sessions. Our space is limited per instructor so a request must be made before the lessons can be scheduled. Audition preparations can be scheduled individually. All other lessons (voice, piano, etc) are scheduled in groups of 4 lessons at a time. Each student can sign up on a month to month or semester by semester basis.

Amanda Stilwell: Thursdays

 

Amanda Stilwell

Born and raised in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia, Amanda Wilkins has been performing both theatre and with bands since the young age of 12.

She has shared the stage with various acts such as Linda Davis, Catfish Hodge, Billy Thompson, as well as touring around the country opening for such acts as Phil Vassar, Travis Tritt, Rascal Flatts and Marty Stewart. Her last theatre performances were of Sgt Sarah Brown in Theatre Shenandoahs Guys and Dolls in 2016, as well as a sister/ensemble in Evita in 2017, with many other shows under her belt since 1994, including with a traveling children’s act for the Wayside Theatre in 2004.

Amanda is a BMI songwriter and has cowritten many tunes with Ricky Wilkins that have been featured on such cable shows as; Inside The NBA, WWE Wrestling, and the Lifetime Network’s Wife Swap.

Amanda and her husband, Sam Stilwell, have two albums currently released. They continue to write and are working on their third album together, currently untitled, and are currently unsigned. When she’s not recording, writing, or traveling performing shows with her husband, Amanda is a full-time mother of two, and a vocal instructor at Martinsburg Rock School, Assistant Show Choir director at Hedgesville Middle School, and therapeutic music lessons with autistic spectrum adults at the ADAPT program at Grafton Winchester.



Hannah Pickerall: Mondays & Wednesdays

Hannah Pickerall Hannah is passionate about helping you find your unique voice and build your confidence in performing. She has been studying voice for over 12 years. She studied vocal music at Barbara Ingram School For the Arts and studied voice for 2 years in Florida. She has been working with ACT since 2017 and has music directed multiple Jr shows including Elf Jr, Aladdin Jr, The Little Mermaid Jr, Matilda Jr, and Descendants. Over the last 3 years, Hannah has spent time writing and recording her own songs, and she released her debut EP in 2022. Hannah looks forward to helping you feel and sound your best while you sing!
