Below is an update for auditions. Please read and be prepared.

1) If you are auditioning for Ensemble only (Delta Nu's, Students, Greek Chorus, Degense Team, Salon Folks, etc) please choose any song from the show to sing.

2) If you are not available the day of auditions and need to submit a video please email Robbie Soto at robbie@actforall.org to set that up. Your video must have a song in the character you are auditioning for (If you are just looking for ensemble just sing any song from the show) and the dance. A video for a dance will be sent to you once you email robbie@actforall.org. You may also be asked to do a reading. Once you get your first video in you will make another video for the reading. First videos are due by May 28th. The reading video will need to be in by May 29th at 2pm. Any videos received after the deadline will NOT be accepted.

3) Auditions will begin at 1pm. We ask you arrive before then to fill out your audition forms and to warm yourself up.

4) the audition will begin with the dance portion. Once the dance portion is completed, we will bring in groups of people by character they are auditioning for. If you are looking to audition for multiple roles, we ask you come in with the character you want most. You will be considered for each role listed on your audition form. The casting team may ask you to sing a song from another character so please be prepared.

5) You may be asked to stay and do readings. Please prepare yourself for that.

*Please prepare a song from the show performed by the character you want to audition for. If the character you want does not have a song any song from the show will do.

Elle Woods
The quintessential Valley Girl who follows her ex-boyfriend to Harvard Law School and realizes that she has more to offer than just a pretty face and a bubbly personality.

Emmett Forrest
A smart and sensitive law student who takes Elle under his wing. He is charming, quirky, loveable, and friendly.

Paulette
A brash, caring, optimistic hair stylist who is friends with Elle and longs to find a man for herself.

Professor Callahan
A pompous, sleezy and manipulative law professor at Harvard who is highly successful, but completely immoral.

Warner Huntington Iii
A good-looking but shallow and pompous guy who breaks Elle's heart and heads off to Harvard Law.

Vivienne Kensington
A smart, savvy, and uptight law student and Warner's fiancee who initially dismisses Elle, but grows to be her friend.

An exercise video mogul who is also a former sorority girl. She is energetic and charismatic, yet currently on trial for murder.

Avenue Q Video Auditions-

VIDEO SUBMISSIONS ARE BEING ACCEPTED FOR AVENUE Q! Video submissions must be submitted and you must be invited to the in person audition. Submissions will be accepted until September 1st. In person Audition will take place September 11, 2022. Puppet classes will be provided to the cast. YOU MUST BE 18+ years by September 11th to audition for the show.

Video Submissions should include the following
1) Your name, email address, and age
2) What role are you auditioning for and if you will accept any role that you are offered.
3) Any conflicts you would have with the rehearsal schedule. Rehearsal schedule is listed below.
4) Tell us a little about yourself and why you want to do this show.
5) Sing a song from the show sung by the character you are auditioning for

Below are the details-
-The show will take place at the ACT Black Box Studio in Hagerstown MD.

-Show Dates- January 13-15 and January 20-22 with more show dates possible.

-Rehearsals will take place on Tuesday, Thursday at 6:30pm and Saturdays at 4pm. Rehearsals will take place either at our office on Florida Avenue or at the Black Box Studio
